Applications for 2025 Public Transport Voucher Exercise to Open from 20 January 2026

1.           To help lower-income households cope with the public transport fare adjustment, the Government had previously announced that Public Transport Vouchers (PTVs) worth $60 each would be made available to eligible households in the 2025 PTV Exercise. Each resident household with a monthly household income per person of not more than $1,800 is eligible for one voucher.

2.           Similar to previous years, the 2025 PTV Exercise is being carried out in two stages. In the first stage in December 2025, physical or digital PTV notification letters were sent out to around 300,000 households that had previously received a voucher during the 2024 PTV Exercise and continue to meet the income eligibility criterion.

3.           In the second stage, which will run from 20 January 2026 to 31 October 2026, households that meet the income eligibility criterion but did not receive a voucher in the first stage can apply for PTVs online at https://go.gov.sg/ptv or in person at their local Community Centres/Clubs (CCs). During this period, households that require additional help, including those who did not qualify based on the household income eligibility criterion, can also submit an application online at https://go.gov.sg/ptv, or in person at their local CCs.

4.         PTVs can be used to top up fare cards or purchase monthly passes. Households who have received a PTV notification letter can follow the instructions on the letter to redeem their voucher via the SimplyGo app or at any SimplyGo Kiosks, Top-Up Kiosks, Assisted Service Kiosks, SimplyGo Ticket Offices or SimplyGo Ticketing Service Centres. Vouchers for the 2025 PTV Exercise are valid for redemption until 31 March 2027. Residents may approach their local CCs if they have any queries.
