1.     Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Minister for Transport Mr Khaw Boon Wan will be making a working visit to Panama City, Panama, from 1 to 4 October 2017, for the International Maritime Organization (IMO) World Maritime Day 2017 Parallel Event.

2.     During his visit, Minister Khaw will meet his counterparts to exchange views on transport developments and explore opportunities for better transport co-operation internationally.  He will also meet with the IMO Secretary-General, Mr Kitack Lim, to discuss issues and developments in the maritime sector.

3.     Minister Khaw will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
