Written Reply to Parliamentary Question 

Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Acting Minister for Transport

a.      whether the Ministry has assessed the potential impact of Indonesia’s proposed overflight access for US military aircraft on the 2022 Agreement on the Realignment of the Boundary between the Jakarta and Singapore Flight Information Regions (FIR); and

b.      how the Ministry will ensure that such military transit arrangements do not disrupt civilian air traffic management within the Singapore FIR.

Reply by Acting Minister for Transport Jeffrey Siow: 

1.      This is a bilateral matter between Indonesia and the United States.
