Minister for Education (Schools) and Second Minister for Transport Mr Ng Chee Meng to Attend the 24th Intelligent Transport Systems World Congress in Montreal

1    Minister for Education (Schools) and Second Minister for Transport, Mr Ng Chee Meng, will be making a working visit to Montreal, Canada, from 25 October to 1 November 2017, in conjunction with the 24th Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) World Congress.


2    During his visit to Montreal, Minister Ng will meet various officials to exchange views on transport developments and explore opportunities for enhanced transport co-operation.  He will also meet with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Secretary-General Dr Liu Fang to discuss civil aviation issues and developments.


3    Minister Ng will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Transport and the Land Transport Authority of Singapore.
