Mr Ng Shi Xuan asked the Minister for Transport

a.           for the procurement schedule of active mobility enforcement cameras, both mobile and permanent, to support enforcement of the enhanced active mobility regulations; and

b.           what is the number of fines that have been issued under the enhanced active mobility regulations since 1 June 2026.

Reply by Minister for Transport Jeffrey Siow:

1.           The Land Transport Authority (LTA) currently deploys 60 active mobility enforcement cameras island-wide, with plans to expand over the next few years.

2.           Under the enhanced active mobility regulations, LTA has caught 21 users for the offence of keeping a non-UL2272 certified e-scooter, and six users for PMA-related offences.
