Mr Edward Chia Bing Hui asked the Minister for Transport

a.          whether the Land Transport Authority will publish real-time LRT arrival data via public apps or DataMall specifically during off-peak hours and weekends when train frequencies are lower; and

b.          whether the Ministry can provide an update on any technical limitations preventing a time-restricted or line-specific data release.

Reply by Minister for Transport Jeffrey Siow

1.          The Land Transport Authority (LTA) does not plan to provide real-time LRT arrival data through public applications or DataMall, as LRT trains operate at short and consistent intervals even during off-peak hours and weekends.
