1. A very good morning to all.
2. We enjoyed the ride and I’m very happy to hear from Dr Hing Siong Chen, President of Singapore Cycling Federation (SCF) that there has been strong support for this year’s fundraising.
3. On behalf of Singapore Cancer Society, SCF and all the beneficiaries, patients and caregivers, and young people who will benefit from the Children’s Academy a big thank you to all our sponsors, supporters, and donors. Many more corporate donors came on board this year, and I hope you continue to support this good cause as long as SCF’s Cycle for Hope continues.
4. I understand that many donors are from the healthcare community—you’re not only caring for patients, but you’re also contributing in very tangible ways to this good cause, as well as the cycling community. Every little contribution helps, so thank you for that.
5. We took a leisure ride to Gardens by the Bay and back just now, and I was so happy to see so many other activities happening around the area. Compared to last year, we can see the vibrancy, and that we have more people on the paths and roads. I see that there is a good co-sharing of spaces, which is what we are advocating as well.
6. While we enjoy cycling, we should also look out for others, and share our paths and roads graciously as we enjoy the beautiful city of Singapore.
7. With that, I thank everyone once again, and I wish you all good health and happiness.
8. I hope that we can all keep active mobility going, for a better and greener Singapore.
