Ms Yeo Wan Ling asked the Acting Minister for Transport in light of petrol prices surpassing their previous high in 2022

a.      whether the Government will work with platform and taxi operators to mitigate the rising operating costs for drivers; and

b.      whether targeted support will be provided to platform drivers, delivery riders, and taxi drivers to offset these costs.

1.      This question was addressed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, the Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance, and the Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs, in their Ministerial Statements on the Impact of the Middle East Situation on Singapore at the Parliamentary Sitting on 7 April 2026.
