Update on Investigation into Accident Involving Two Public Buses Along Jurong West Ave 1

Written Reply to Parliamentary Question

Mr Xie Yao Quan asked the Acting Minister for Transport regarding the accident involving two public buses along Jurong West Avenue 1 on 14 December 2025

a.          whether all persons injured and hospitalised have been discharged;

b.          what financial support will be provided to them; and

c.           when do the authorities and operators expect to complete their investigation into the accident.

Reply by Acting Minister for Transport Jeffrey Siow:

1.          All persons injured and hospitalised due to the incident have been discharged from hospital. The two bus operators involved are assisting injured passengers with their medical claims. Investigations are ongoing, and the Land Transport Authority will share more information when there are further developments.
