Mr Leon Perera asked the Minister for Transport what is the expected timeline for the completion of the conversion of all street lights to LED lighting, in light of COVID-19 related disruptions to public works.
Reply by Minister for Transport Ong Ye Kung:
1. To date, LTA has converted 43% of the lights on public streets to LED lighting, and expects to complete the island-wide conversion by end 2022.
