a. what are the implications to Singapore due to the realignment of the Flight Information Region (FIR) boundary between Singapore and Indonesia; and
b. whether this realigned FIR will bring long-term benefits to Singapore’s competitiveness and air hub status.

1. The implications of the realignment of the Flight Information Region (FIR) boundary between Singapore and Indonesia and whether the realigned FIR will bring long-term benefits to Singapore’s competitiveness and air hub status have been addressed by the Minister for Transport in the Ministerial Statement – The Agreement on the Realignment of the Boundary between the Jakarta and the Singapore Flight Information Regions – at the Parliament Sitting on 14 February 2022.
