Mr Saktiandi Supaat asked the Minister for Transport with regard to the tender by LTA to deploy 12,000 charging points across nearly 2,000 HDB carparks, what percentage of the charging points are intended for (i) electric vehicle rental services and (ii) private electric vehicle owners respectively.
Reply by Minister for Transport S Iswaran:
1. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points to be deployed under the HDB carparks tender are publicly accessible, and not for the exclusive use of any segment of vehicles.
