Written Reply to Parliamentary Question on Construction of Pick-Up and Drop-Off Point Near Bukit Batok MRT Station

Mr Murali Pillai asked the Minister for Transport whether a pick-up and drop-off point with a sheltered walkway may be constructed near Bukit Batok MRT station with a view to improve access to and from the station.
Reply by Minister for Transport S Iswaran:
1. A new pick-up and drop-off point along Bukit Batok Central, with a sheltered walkway linking it to the nearby Bukit Batok MRT station, has been included in Land Transport Authority’s Commuter Infrastructure Enhancement Programme.
2. Construction works are expected to commence next year.
