Ms Hazel Poa asked the Minister for Transport what is the expected cost to the Government for providing the installation of the ERP 2.0 on-board unit for vehicles.
Reply by Acting Minister for Transport Chee Hong Tat:
1. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) awarded the ERP 2.0 project to the consortium formed by NCS Pte Ltd and MHI Engine System Asia Pte Ltd at a cost of S$556 million in 2016. As the project is still ongoing, the overall project costs will only be finalised upon completion.
