Mr Chua Kheng Wee Louis asked the Minister for Transport
a. whether business aviation flights are required to use 1% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from 2026 and pay SAF levies; and
b. what is the basis for this levy being charged.
Reply by Minister for Transport Chee Hong Tat:
1. The Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) levy will apply to all flights departing Singapore from 2026, including business aviation flights.
