Ms Mariam Jaafar asked the Minister for Transport what is the number of complaints received pertaining to road and MRT track noise in the past five years.
Reply by Minister for Transport S Iswaran:
1. In the past five years, we have received a total of 6470 feedback on road traffic noise, and 1101 feedback on MRT track noise. We have explained the sources of noise from roads and MRT, and our mitigation measures in previous PQs replies.
