Mr Lim Biow Chuan asked the Minister for Transport whether he can provide an update on the expected operational and start date of Stage 4 of the Thomson-East Coast Line.
Reply by Minister for Transport S Iswaran:
1. Stage 4 of the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL4) will provide greater connectivity for commuters travelling to and from the East Coast region. Seven stations under TEL4 are expected to commence passenger service in 2024. The eighth TEL4 station, Founders' Memorial station, will open in tandem with the Founders' Memorial.
