Dr Amy Khor to Attend 29th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR

1. Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Dr Amy Khor, will lead the Singapore delegation to attend the 29th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting and associated meetings with ASEAN Dialogue Partners, held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR from 9 to10 November 2023.
2. At the meeting, ASEAN Transport Ministers will discuss and take stock of regional co-operation in air, land and sea transport. They will also meet their counterparts from ASEAN Dialogue Partners which include the People’s Republic of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, to exchange views on transport cooperation.
3. On 10 November, SMS Dr Khor will also attend a Ministerial Interface Meeting of the ASEAN Transport and Tourism Ministers, to discuss collaboration between the two sectors to accelerate post-pandemic economic recovery.
4. SMS Dr Khor will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
