Official Visit by Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, to Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 29 May to 3 June 2023

1. Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Dr Amy Khor, will make an official visit to Seoul, Republic of Korea (ROK), from 29 May to 3 June 2023.
2. SMS Dr Khor will lead the Singapore delegation to attend the 2nd International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS), from 29 to 31 May 2023. At the GISS, SMS Dr Khor will meet her transport counterparts from ICAO Member States to exchange views on how the ICAO and Member States can collaborate to support aviation resilience, innovation, and sustainable development, as the sector recovers from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and addresses the challenges of human capital development, climate change, and safety and security.
3. While in Seoul, SMS Dr Khor will meet the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the ROK, the Minister of Environment of the ROK and the Deputy Mayor of Seoul. SMS Dr Khor will also undertake study visits on areas related to making our streets friendlier, electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles.
4. SMS Dr Khor will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, and other land use agencies.
